East District

In common with many cities Glie's east district seems a good deal rougher than the more genteel west side. The east district seems to be the location of much of Glie's industry, although even then, you couldn't call it heavily industrialised.
In the anime we see very little of the east district, apart from Rakka's visits to Abandoned factory, which is located there.
