Short Summary

A flashback shows Reki hatching and being found by Nemu and Kuramori. Kuramori befriends Reki, takes her to Washi, and gets sick trying to get the dye for Reki's wings. On her sickbed, Reki and Nemu finally make friends.

Rakka is still sick. Reki goes to the Renmei temple to try and get help for Rakka, and Washi tells her she doesn't have much time left as a haibane. Reki can make a medicine for Rakka, and she recovers. When Rakka is summoned to the Renmei temple for punishment, Washi shows her how to her collect light flakes, which will be her job. It begins to snow, and Reki encounters Hyouko and Midori, who give her a package of pastries as apology to Rakka.
