Short Summary
Rakka is still depressed, and the others meet in Kuu's room to split up her former belongings. Reki helps Rakka to move the bed into her room and Rakka asks her about the meaning of existence. Rakka and Reki take the kids into town to get coats. At the store Rakka gets freaked out when a woman tries to touch her wings and runs off. Crying alone on the Hill of Winds, she feels the crows calling to her. She follows them into the Western Woods and ends up falling down a well, where she sees her dream again and finds the skeleton of a crow. The other haibane search for her as she buries the bird and talks with it.
